At Home Craft Decor, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. Attention to design, materials, safety, and construction is our priority.
Upon receipt, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage. Please note that sizes are approximate.
Return Policy
We want you to be thrilled with your new purchase. If, for any reason, you're unsatisfied with a product, notify us through the contact form or email us at info@crafthomedecor.com, and our team will guide you through the return process. Like most return policies, we can only accept items in their original packaging.
Note that products with scratches, stains, damage, or modifications can't be returned. Standard Shipping and White Glove Shipping charges from the original order will not be considered in the store credit once these services have been provided.
The return request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. Once received in good condition, our team will promptly issue a store credit/gift card.
Return shipment must be independently arranged, with associated costs covered by the customer.
Please note that all lighting, rugs, and throne collections are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange.
In stock items from vendors, including but not limited to TOV, Modway, Meridian Furniture, Philips Collection, Jaipur Living, Renwil and Xcella, are considered special orders. These items are brought in specifically for your purchase and cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded once the order is placed. All such orders are final sale.
Shipping Damages
While we work with trusted, professional delivery partners, shipping damage can occasionally occur during transit. To ensure we can process any claims with our carriers, it is essential that any shipping damage or defects are reported to us within 48 hours of receiving your order.
Upon Delivery
Customers are responsible for inspecting their order immediately upon delivery. Please carefully inspect all items for any shipping damage or defects before disposing of the original packaging, as the packaging may be required to process a damage claim. If you discover any damage or issues, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of:
- The damaged item
- The original packaging
- The shipping label
- Any visible damage to the shipping box or crate
Failure to report shipping damage within the required timeframe may result in the claim being denied.
If you are working with a designer, contractor, or third-party installer, we ask that all items be thoroughly inspected upon delivery rather than at the time of installation. Claims for damage discovered after installation may not be covered.
Cancellation Of Orders And Out Of Stock Items:
Home Craft Decor may allow cancellation of your order or part of your order if the item is no longer available (discontinued products) – in most instances, we will contact you via telephone or e-mail to discuss your order.
All orders will be confirmed with you via email prior to delivery and after we receive your payment.
Custom Products & Special Orders:
Custom Products & Special orders are items manufactured based on specific customer requests and are not regular showroom merchandise. Purchases of custom-made products, including non-stocked upholstery, are final. Production times are our best estimate and cannot be guaranteed, and do not represent grounds for cancellation or compensation.
Final Sale, Floor Models and Clearance Items:
All Floor Models, Reduced as Is, One of A Kind or damaged are final sale and are not eligible for a refund, store credit, or exchange.
Limited Warranty Color/Look of items:
Due to the many variations in monitors & browsers, further accentuated by differences in photography & lighting of pictures, color reproduction is not precise. For that reason, we CANNOT guarantee that an item viewed on the site accurately portrays its color/look.
Limited Warranty Leather Upholstery Coverage:
Leather is a natural material, and surface marks, brand marks, natural scarring, insect bites and variances in color show that the leather is genuine top grain. Since these unique characteristics are not defects and provide uniqueness to the product, these items are not eligible for return.
Limited Warranty – Marble & Natural Stone Coverage
Marble and natural stone are organic materials formed by nature and will naturally vary in color, veining, pattern, texture, mineral deposits, and surface movement. No two pieces are identical. Variations between showroom samples, website images, and the delivered product are expected and are not considered defects. Small pits, fissures, shading differences, and natural markings are inherent characteristics that enhance the uniqueness of each piece. For this reason, marble and natural stone items are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or store credit due to natural variation.
Limited Warranty – Wood Coverage
Wood is a natural material and may display variations in grain pattern, knots, texture, tone, and color. Changes in humidity and temperature may also cause natural expansion, contraction, or slight movement over time. These characteristics are normal and are not considered manufacturing defects. Differences between showroom samples, website images, and delivered items are to be expected. As such, wood products are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or store credit due to natural variations in grain, color, or texture.
Shipping, Insurance, and Other Handling Charges:
Please note: For the free shipping promotion, shipping costs are covered up to $199 CAD. If the shipping costs exceed this amount, we will contact you with additional details.
Shipping, insurance, and all other handling charges/fees are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable. If you wish to have your item insured, please advise us of this at the time of order if you would like to have the item insured). Unless the item received was defective/damaged, in which case please contact us.
Delivery Accessibility:
The customer is responsible for making sure the item can fit in the room of choice and can be delivered through all entry points by verifying building access and all doorway measurements. Outside access to the delivery area must be clear, and the inside area where the furniture will be placed must be accessible for the placement of furniture.
